Zoë Barrett (Dip) MAR is a qualified & experienced complementary therapist in Reflexology, Baby Reflex™ and Zone Face lift (natural & non-invasive). Zoë has over 15 years of experience and is an accredited and full member of the Association of Reflexologists, and a member of Baby Reflex™ and the College of Medicine & Integrated Health. Through her training and experience, she is also able to offer health and nutrition guidance as part of her services. As a member of these organisations Zoë is committed to her continuing professional development, and keeping up to date with the latest methods within the integrated health sector.
Zoë is a mother of 2 and lives in Brighton. Her interest in Reflexology came about after working in marketing for a large corporate company in Surrey & London. Feeling burnt out & stressed, she looked into complementary therapies and the one that caught her attention was Reflexology. She knew little about it, but after having her first Reflexology treatment she was amazed by how well it made her feel and the benefits it gave. There was no turning back, as she fell in love with this therapy, and this was the beginning of the change in her career path and her life as a complementary therapist.
Zoë first trained & qualified at the Cheryl Butler School of Reflexology in 2008. She went on to study and qualify in Indian Head Massage, and then Baby & Toddler Reflexology. She now teaches parents The Baby Reflex™ techniques in courses she runs in Brighton & Hove, including 1:1’s, group sessions and home visits. Zoë used Baby Reflexology on both of her children, helping them with colic, constipation, teething etc. She also specialises in Reflexology for women’s health, menopause, and pregnancy. Reflexology is an enjoyable and powerful therapy, which has been shown to be effective for back pain, migraine, sleep disorders, mental health, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, stress-related conditions, and many more.
Zoë also qualified at The London School of Reflexology, training with the award-winning Ziggie Bergman, who developed “The Bergman Method” of Facial Reflexology. This aims to relieve the effects of stress and tension, and to relax and calm, amongst many other benefits. The newest treatment Zoë offers is Zone Face Lift, it is a non-invasive treatment which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and frown lines, combats puffiness and also tightens the skin of the face and neck; it has been hailed by many as a credible alternative to Botox.
In addition to Reflexology, Zoë offers Advanced Facial Reflexology and Zone Face Lift (“The Bergman Method”).
