Wendy Snell

Wendy is an experienced and fully qualified counsellor, clinical supervisor and EMDR therapist. She has worked in therapy for 15 years, employed in charities as a senior practitioner and service manager, in the NHS and in independent practice as a therapist, lecturer and as a clinical supervisor to counsellors and other professionals.

Over the years, Wendy has worked with a wide range of clients, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, chronic illness, sexuality and more. And she has extensive experience in supporting people who have experienced trauma. She works with individual clients aged 16 and above.

The type of counselling Wendy offers is based on the person-centred approach. She aims to create a safe and reliable space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that can help you to develop more self-understanding, more self-acceptance, and more self-confidence to manage your life and relationships in constructive and healthy ways. She also offers EMDR for experiences of trauma.

Wendy has a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
