Cathy trained as a physiotherapist to Masters level in Sydney, Australia and now has over 22 years’ experience in the profession. She’s also trained in acupuncture and Pilates and places great emphasis on rehabilitation. Cathy has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and has a particular interest in tendon injuries, particularly of the hip and shoulder.
In addition to running her own practice, Cathy works at the highest clinical level as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner for the Sussex MSK Partnership. Here she provides orthopaedic clinics for shoulder, elbow, spinal, hip and knee patients. Since 2016, Cathy has also worked at Glyndebourne opera house, providing in-house physiotherapy for the staff.
Cathy also acts as a Physiotherapy Expert Witness, providing reports in physiotherapy clinical negligence cases. She is secretary of the Medico Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP) and is on the Professional Practice committee of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
Enjoying an active lifestyle, Cathy regularly competes in triathlons, is a qualified triathlete training coach and enjoys cycling and running with her two dogs.
