What is Systematic Kinesiology?
The word kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) derives from the Greek word kineses meaning movement. Systematic Kinesiology is a complementary holistic health therapy in which a muscle testing procedure is used to measure the flow of energy through the body and identify any areas of imbalance. This is followed up with a range of treatments including lymphatic massage, electrical balancing, nutritional and emotional work to correct imbalances.
Systematic Kinesiology takes a holistic approach to health considering the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of a person’s well-being. The practitioner uses muscle testing to assess various factors such as nutritional imbalances, structural misalignments, emotional stressors, and energetic blockages. Muscle testing involves applying gentle pressure to specific muscles (limbs are often used for muscle test) while asking the client to resist. Changes in muscle strength or “weakness” are interpreted as indicators of underlying imbalances or stresses in the body. Based on the information gathered, Systematic Kinesiology practitioners may employ a variety of techniques like dietary recommendations, nutritional supplementation, lymphatic massage, emotional stress techniques, and energy balancing methods to help restore balance and harmony to the body.
Systematic Kinesiology recognises the uniqueness of every person and treatments plans are tailored to address the specific needs and goals of each client. All parts of our whole persona are interrelated. We cannot affect one part without affecting the whole. If we are bent out of shape mentally, then we are affected chemically, physically, and also energetically. We are here to help you bring your body back into its natural balance.
