Christine is a highly experienced and motivated CranioSacral Therapist and Clinical Sports Massage Therapist with over 15 years of working with elite athletes, adults, children and babies whilst in clinical private practice both in New Zealand and the UK. She has also been working as a Psychotherapist in a North London charity organisation since 2013 and more recently at St Catherine’s Hospice in West Sussex.
Her initial professional training was as a Field Radio Operator in the NZ Army and after spending some time travelling she then went onto train full time as a Clinical Massage Therapist at the NZ College of Massage which led to training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, where she resonated with its gentle and non-invasive approach that attunes to the whole of a person and their history and supports an individual’s self-healing and self-regulating capabilities.
Christine has undertaken specialist training in pre and perinatal trauma, working with mothers, babies and children, bereavement, grief, loss and trauma resolution. Particular interest to Christine is how trauma, loss, bereavement, grief and early attachment issues manifest physically in the body and impact relationships throughout our lives.
She has worked for many years with people who have experienced chronic pain from trauma (including birth), sports and long term injuries sustained by accidents and illness, stress related symptoms, ME and chronic fatigue syndrome, life changes, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity crises, life meaning, health issue pains and fulfilling one’s potential. During this time Christine has also worked with both junior and senior elite athletes in squash, golf, rowing, sailing, triathlon, boxing, judo and skiing in New Zealand and the UK.
“Thank you so much for your help and support, you have turned my life around and I will never forget that. Thank you.” – Gareth (30)
